I went to Melody for a pre-natal massage and she was wonderful!! She has healing hands. I felt so refreshed after the massage and I would highly recommend her! Absolutely recommend Ashley. It was my first time here. I brought my daughter for a trim and I got grey hair covered and highlights (I think that's what it is called). I told her to do her thing bc I didn't really know what I wanted. She did amazing. She is the sweetest. Room was clean and she is so professional. Very hard working. Absolutely worth the money.

While staying on the North Shore in Sept 2025, I hired Sam to come to our house and massage my wife and her friends who were visiting from the mainland. Sam’s communication was great, and it was easy to schedule and set up. One friend said, “I’ve never been this relaxed in my whole life!” Others loved her massages, which can range from Swedish to Deep Tissue. I highly recommend Sam’s Healing Hands O’ahu on the North Shore!

Really love this cute little intimate and cozy hot yoga studio that's been around for ~25 years. This studio and Keri are so warm and welcoming, it's the perfect way to start and/or end the day! I love Keri's kind and gentle personalized corrections and tips. Regardless if this is your first time or you're a seasoned pro- you will feel welcomed upon entering and feel rejuvenated upon exiting. I practiced at this studio 5-6 years ago before leaving island and recently returning. This charming little studio hasn't changed a bit. I've been to hot yoga around the country and even in other countries and each holds a special place, but the aloha hospitality and personalization is not something you'll find at most studios. If you're considering trying hot yoga for the first time I really couldn't think of a better studio to try than North Shore. You will be welcomed with open arms and Keri will keep a watchful eye on you throughout class to make sure you're on the right track and doing ok. Hope to see you soon!
Absolutely love Holley. Was bouncing around looking for a waxer for a month or so, and she was a godsend. She loves and cares about her clients. Everything is so clean. She plays great music, Great space. She is SO easy to talk to. She makes you feel so comfortable and a PLUS: she is very personable. She is my GO-TO on NS.
Kawai is awesome! My car wouldn't start and I gave him a call. He immediately came over, determined I needed a new battery, ordered it, and brought it back to my place. Whole thing was done in less than 3 hours and I was back on the road. He's really friendly and responsive and explains everything clearly. I'm definitely hitting him up anytime I have any car issues. Not only is Jill extremely knowledgeable about hibiscus flowers, hybridization history, and Hawaiian history, she is also as kind as a person can be. Her nursery is the culmination of decades of hard work and it is truly beautiful to be able to go visit and see it. She is patient and loves sharing her knowledge with others. Can’t recommend enough! I’ve been coming here for a few years (prior to the pandemic) and every class has been amazing. The instructors are very helpful in alignment, adjustments (mostly verbal now of course) and making you feel welcome at any stage of your yoga journey. Love love love the co-op!

My mom needed a tow truck ASAP on a Sunday morning/afternoon (Her truck driver side ball joint broke off the entire assembly). I called many tow truck companies near by and no one responded. So, I tried Harvey's towing. Harvey answered my call and said he would be late because of another job he was at. Long story short, Harvey did his job and came swiftly before, I finally got ahold of someone to tow my mom's truck, Harvey called and said he was 15 min out from where the truck was stranded. Harvey, was a life saver and can't thank him for being fast and swift with coming from town side to North Shore (Kahuku to be exact). Mahalo.

Sarah did a beautiful job cutting and styling my thin, fine hair. I kept it longer and she gave me a rounded bottom shape with some blunt layering at the ends and cute face-framing pieces. Simple and sexy, I love it!
When things go wrong.... this is your team. Brenda from TM practically replanned our wedding twice in the week leading up to it due to storms coming in, and the venue cancelling on us as a result of the storms 3 days before the wedding. She had great working relationships with vendors across the island and was very knowledgeable about everything we needed to know. She went above and beyond during the wedding, even performing emergency sewing surgery on my dress and protecting me from a lot of drama happening in the background related to the storm and the new venue. With Brenda in charge, my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the day- the best day of our lives!
Kandy (the owner) is amazing! I was badly in need of a new hair stylist after going way too long to another salon where they never really listened to my hair goals. Kandy really listened to the color I was going for to mask my grays while keeping things easy to maintain and not brassy. She talked me thru the process of getting the yellow out of balayage so the overall effect would give me a cooler ashy brown, closer to my actual hair color. When she turned me around in the chair when she was all done, I audibly gasped! It looked so good! I highly recommend Kandy and North Shore Salon & Spa. I will definitely be back!
Super sweet staff that made me and my dog feel welcomed . They explained pricing to me before hand and treated Opal like a princess . I recommend them to all of my friends . They will be my go to vet from now on.
