I'm so grateful I found Purple Yoga Hawaii! I can't say enough great things about them. I did prenatal yoga throughout my first pregnancy but it was during the height of quarantine, so it was all virtual. I felt like it helped a lot, so this time I was determined to find an in-person prenatal yoga class. There are honestly not that many on-island! Luckily I found this studio. Cathy Louise is so knowledgeable and I always look forward to the classes. The website makes it so convenient and clear, a pack of 10 is only $160 and it does not expire! So I can use it for the baby and me class once baby comes and maybe even a regular yoga if I'm ever ambitious enough post-partum. Coincidently for my first class there was NO parking and it was very stressful with me driving around Kaimuki. I eventually found street parking. Since then, I try to get there early and it has never been a problem! I just had bad luck on my first class. The first class is just $10 to try, which I definitely recommend checking out. Get there early so you don't have to stress out about parking like I did. Overall it helps with breathing, stretching out the right areas and she always has great little stories and tips about birth and babies. Everyone is so nice and friendly and it is just a great place to get some stretching in once a week.
