Dr. Francis Kamiya has been our veterinarian from nearly the time he first opened his practice. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and took great care of our pets. We were saddened by the news that Dr. Francis finally retired. A huge thumbs up for Dr. Francis. Now, the reason for the two stars rating. About six months ago, our newest dog developed several health requiring a visit to the vet. Dr. Francis' son, Dr. Darrin had taken over the business. Our dog's health issues haven't been resolved and continue down the aimless path of office visits and medications. It's been disheartening and frustrating for our dog's health issues to have lingered this long. We used to see Dr. Francis, no more than twice for our pet's issue. We really miss Dr. Francis. I've been taking my dogs there for the past 8 yrs and loved both Dr Francis and Dr Darren, father and son duo. Dr Francis is ol school and talks to the owner directly, especially during this covid craziness. Dr. Darren will call you and let you know the updates. They are still not allowing owner and their pets in the office and you will have to call the office and they'll come out to get your pet. Their cost still remain affordable when paying cash. I enjoy the supporting staff too.

Thoughtful care, affordable prices. I drive cross-island to see Dr Darren Kamiya, because he cares for the well-being of my pets more than getting rich. I have been charged double elsewhere. Most importantly, I trust that my pets are getting the best possible care in his office. Shout out to the Vet Techs who manage to comfort my squirmy and awkward Chihuahua ?
