About Nail Tek Mililani Shopping Center
Nail Tek Mililani Shopping Center offers a range of services, including manicures, pedicures, waxing, and facials. Located in the Mililani Shopping Center, the salon has been a popular spot for over 10 years. The nail technicians are generally professional and pleasant, with some reviewers noting that most of the ladies are nice and friendly. However, one reviewer had a poor experience with Stephanie, who was described as cold, demanding, and rude. The reviewer felt uncomfortable and unrelaxed during the pedicure, which was exacerbated by Stephanie's behavior. In contrast, another reviewer had a positive experience with Kathy or Cathy, who provided excellent massages and cuticle care. The reviewer even got goosebumps during the treatment. Overall, Nail Tek Mililani Shopping Center has a strong reputation for providing high-quality services and excellent customer service, with one reviewer celebrating 18 years of happy experiences at the salon.
I really wanted to like this place although a number of people warned me not to come because of fungus. I had a so-so experience for a few months and finally ended up with a fungus on both hand and foot. Some of the techs here really work hard, and seem to care about steady clientele but the others are really dragging the place down. Definitely not going anywhere until this stuff clear up, wish i had listened to the advice.
I have been visiting this nail salon for well over 10 years because I live nearby and the nail techs generally do a good job. Most of the ladies are nice and professional. Stephanie, however, is not. She has done my nails several times in the past and has always struck me as cold and demanding about where to place my hand and feet and how to angle my fingers or hands to make things easier for her. Today she told me to "relax" my legs while doing my pedi. Next thing I know, I'm too relaxed and she is aggressively pushing my legs upright to be straight and rigid. I am used to having to hold my legs up so she can scrub my feet, which isn't comfortable and isn't something the other techs do. However, I felt compelled to write a review because today she was particularly rude. She kept angling my arm and hand, at times telling me to relax and other times demanding that I spread my fingers apart for her (the opposite of relaxed). She said I was making things difficult for her by watching what she is doing. It's not like I have anything else to do since she sits by the door, farthest from the TV. I finally told her to do what she needs to do to paint my nails. Honestly, I don't pay $100+ for this kind of abrasive, rude behavior. She also drenched my hands in oil and barely massaged my hands. The other ladies are great, but Stephanie is a poor representation of you. From now on, I will wait for another person if she is the only one available. I would rate her 1 star, but that would be unfair to the other excellent techs.
Not sure if it's Kathy or Cathy but man does she have strong hands. Got the basic manicure and signature pedicure. I don't really need the nail design and whatever. What matters to me is the cuticles and massages. She did an excellent work on massages. Even got goosebumps . Would definitely recommend her to those who likes the same things as I do.
