“Maui (my service dog) and I got hurt and displaced in the fire, we were helped by Red cross and this is how we got exposed to the Doctors of the Makawao clinic and most importantly Marina Kai and Lisa. They have enormous amount of compassion and will treat your furbies with a lot of care, like they treat their owns. Marina was his follow up doctor and she went in and beyond every expectation to make sure hes recovering and doing well after his surgery. We (Maui and I) do not have too much other support here on the island being new and transplanted for work, so we both needed a lot of handholding, hugs and tender care and loving. We received the most special treatment and will never forget her help and support! We strongly recommend the clinic for routine care, but also for these very specific, dangerous and highly involved cases (Maui underwent gastropexy after the fire, had infection and 106F fever, they took great care of the post surgery complications and we are extremely thankful and forever grateful for their help and the recovery fund provided by Red Cross.“
