I am at Kauai Medical Clinic this morning for an appointment for my wife for a heart check up. Waiting patiently in the car for her due to Covid restrictions, I was struck by an overwhelming urge to utilize the restroom. I quickly masked up and raced to the front entrance of the Kauai Medical Clinic to let the attendant know that I was a family member waiting for a patient, and would like to know where to find a restroom. I was told that there are no public restrooms at the Kauai Medical Clinic these days. What about family members present and waiting for a patient? We do not live on the islands but we wished we did! This past summer we vacationed in Kauai. Our youngest son developed a cough and lung issues shortly after our arrival. We took him to the Kauai Clinic and met with Dr Carl Yu. He was absolutely fantastic with our 2 year old! He correctly diagnosed the issue and truly has a gift with working with children. We can't say enough positive things about our experience with the clinic the staff or Dr Yu. Thank you so much!
