HBH has a very good brochure to invite foster families to apply; the amount of support looks good. But what is the amount of the stipend noted in their literature and on their DVD? Either no one knows or do not have permission to say. One office says foster parents are only given reimbursement for expenses they essentially bill the company for, or maybe it depends on the child, or maybe it is just a per day allowance....Staff is polite, but no answer. Bullet number 3 reads "A very generous, tax-free stipend paid monthly." I wonder if it's true.
