My wife and I did a snorkeling excursion on the Four Winds as part of our first visit to Hawaii. We also did the SNUBA experience and had such a great time.
Our SNUBA instructor was Reed, he was focused on us having a safe and fun time. WE DID. We were able to spend 30 minutes underwater, such a neat experience. The crew also had a photographer on board that took photos and video of our SNUBA time. That was great to have it captured to maintain those memories.
The crew for the boat were all so very nice and kind. They were all focused on us having fun. The also served us delicious breakfast and lunch. (Our lunch was better than our dinner at a well-known beach restaurant.) Alcohol selections were also provided (after we finished in the water).
When we started to return to the dock, we encountered many, many whales, all very close to our boat. That lasted for quite some time, and the crew was very intentional about us enjoying that time to the fullest.
We also met some nice people during our time there, others who were there to enjoy the experience. I highly recommend Four Winds for snorkeling and for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I HIGHLY recommend the SNUBA.

We had a great experience on the Four Winds and snorkeling a Molokini Crater. The crew were very knowledgeable about the fish we were seeing, and we also managed to see many whales on the way to and from Molokini (some were even traveling with dolphins). At one point the crew dropped the boat's hydrophone in the water so we could hear the whale sounds, which was a really exciting and unforgettable moment. The breakfast and lunch were also delicious. We would absolutely do this again next time we're in Maui.

Great experience with Maui Classic Charters 2 weeks ago that just got better. Everything was as advertised, the snorkeling and lunch were great, along with the whale watching in transit. The glass bottom section - so cool to even have a Monk Seal swim right by. My wife hurt her back the day before and could not come on the prepaid outing. I did not inquire about a refund with so late a cancellation BUT unexpectantly a refund from them just appeared on my credit card! Thanks for the great experience and generous business practice!!

Phenomenal tour! Friendly and helpful crew. We had so many whale sightings! Very tasty lunch with multiple options for dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!

When the crew is having fun and enjoying the scenery with you on the voyage, you know you are taking part in something special. I don't remember having a more enjoyable time on the water in a long long time. Thank you for loving your jobs enough that customers feel like friends

The people were all pretty nice to work with. However, what they don’t tell you is that they will cancel a whole trip because of lack of people. We had our trip booked and our days planned out accordingly. We called a week in advance asking if the weather was okay or if we should change days. We were told not to change days. The morning of the tour we got a text saying it was canceled, thinking maybe it was weather. Nope, when we called it was because of lack of people. They refunded us which was nice. However, we fly out tomorrow afternoon and there wasn’t another time that worked with our schedule. Now, on our once and a lifetime trip we don’t get to do what we really wanted to.

We had an amazing experience. The captain and two other crew members were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We felt safe at all times. We were lucky and caught up with 5 different whales, saw 3 double breaches and a pair of dolphins. The captain and crew made time for us to experience it all! I havent gotten to the snorkeling yet, first time ive ever done it and definitely going ro do it again!! Amazing experience!!

What an experience!!! Snorkling trip on board food the crew top of notch!!! On return trip turned to whale watching and sprinter pods of about 100 dolphins. The crew completely invested in best dolphin and whale watching experience. Definately recommended

Super experience! This trip is 5h allowing ample time to stop for whales (we had three stops) and more than enough time for snorkeling at Molokini. All the crew is very knowledgeable and friendly and the lunch was tasty and enough to go for seconds. The breakfast was good but modest. Parking tip: don't park at the Maui Ocean Centre, it's 3x more expensive compared to the 1$/hour right on the dock.
