I had a good experience and a good massage due to throwing my lower back out on vacation. My massage therapist did everything he could and was very knowledgeable.

Utalized their sauna only. There were lockers, robes, towels and slippers provided. Showers to rinse off in and a lovely sitting area to lounge in. Not a hotel guest, no problem! Parking was validated.

I recently had a prenatal massage here and unfortunately left really disappointed, especially given the price point and expectations that come with a resort experience.

To start, the setup didn’t align with what’s typically expected for a prenatal massage. There was no proper prenatal pillow or table accommodation, so I had to lie on my side the entire time, which limited the ability to actually work on half of my body. My legs were propped up with what felt like a rough towel rather than supportive cushioning, and even the eye covering was just a pillowcase that didn’t block out the light—small details, but they add up at this level.

The massage itself lacked any real muscle work. There was so much oil used that there was no traction or pressure—it felt more like I was being coated in oil than receiving an actual massage.

What was most frustrating is that it felt like quality isn’t a priority here. Gratuity is already included, and it shows in the level of service and attention to detail. It doesn’t feel like there’s much incentive to ensure guests leave satisfied or want to return.

When I shared my concerns with the front desk, the only resolution offered was 10% off (about $20), which honestly felt dismissive—almost as if this is a common complaint.

Overall, this didn’t come close to the experience you’d expect at this price point, and I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

I was really disappointed with the overall experience. For a resort spa, the amenities, cleanliness and environment fell short of expectations. The steam room was out of order, and there was no communication about this at the time of booking or even when being shown into the locker room. Amenities are a big part of why you choose a spa, not just the treatment itself, so this was frustrating.

The overall space also didn’t feel as elevated or relaxing as it should for a resort setting. The welcome experience was underwhelming—staff didn’t do much to set the tone or create a sense of calm or luxury.

Additionally, the linens, robes, and towels felt very worn and overused. The massage table sheets especially didn’t feel fresh or high-quality, which took away from the experience. For the price point and location, I expected a much more polished and luxurious atmosphere.

My husband booked a Swedish massage for me, on our third day (of a nine day stay.) My husband knows what I like. At the spa, I was welcomed and felt comfortable right away. (As I was filling out the pre-treatment paperwork, I couldn’t help but overhear a client (who’d just finished a treatment) go off on the staff, due to an auto service fee. First of all, the staff doesn’t dictate fees— the staff doesn’t implement fees. They simply do their job. So for a guest to berate them, when they are simply doing their job, is pointless (and rude) in my opinion. Kudos to the staff for handling themselves in a completely professional manner, in dealing with this guest who, in my opinion , was out of line. So, right off the bat, I’m impressed by their ability to handle difficult situations. They definitely diffused the awkward atmosphere the guest had created.) Clean, comfortable, quiet, relaxing dressing room and relaxation room. My massage therapist, MIKE, was exceptional. Quite possibly the best massage I’ve ever had. The technique and pressure he applied, was perfect for me. After the massage, I sat in the relaxation room. I almost felt like I was in a coma, I was so relaxed! I finished the water bottle and chocolates Mike had provided me with, following my massage. If you’re considering a treatment in this spa, do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Best facial I have ever had! Loved every minute! A lot of money, but worth it!

Horrible massage and poor booking process- for the calibre of the hotel in Wailea not what is expected.

I recently stayed at the Wailea Beach Resort with several of my husband's co-workers & spouses. I decided to book a deep tissue massage & relexology treatment after the receptionist recommended Mike. It was incredible! Possibly one of the best massages I have ever had. Not only an excellent massage therapist, Mike has a wealth of knowledge in Eastern practices. I have had a frozen shoulder since August 2024 & have been going to physical therapy & a massage therapist. Many of the techniques & oils Mike used offered so much relief & healing to my painful joint. If you have the opportunity to get a massage while at the resort, I highly recommend him!
