This was my first time visiting 808 salon and overall I had a really good experience. First the place is very stylist and hip in the inside, love how the flow is and is set up in such a way that social distancing is possible. It's pretty clean as well. They take your temperature and require masks. One thing that caught me off guard is a dog was in the salon jumping and furniture and licking my toes. My thought well that's different. Assuming it was the owners. I had Jennifer as my hair stylist and let just say she is AMAZING!!!! I have very thick and fluffy hair and she is the first hair stylist in all my years to be able to actually blow dry my hair without it frizzing. She was amazing. I can't recommend her enough. I will keep coming back for her.

Very disappointed in the Salon's customer service I received. I got there early and texted to let them know I had arrived. My appointment was at 3:00. I waited outside for someone to get me. I waited and waited. After 15 minutes, I poked my head in and they said we'll be right with you. I waited again outside. I waited another 15 minutes. Another lady poked her head out and said Pam will be with you in a few moments. I asked what was a few moments. She said a couple minutes. I waited an additional 15 minutes. So, I went in and said I'm out of here. I think what bothered me the most was that I was never greeted and acknowledged. I just sat there. Perhaps a bottle of water should have been offered or at least an explanation why she was running so late. Very poor service. Would not recommend.

I regularly get my hair cut and styled by Jennifer. She is one of the very few hair stylist that seems to get my hair. She is highly skilled, very professional and friendly. The Salon is clean, relaxing and they are stocked with high quality salon products.

My best friend just got her hair done by Jeremy. She requested that the Grey be colored over. The end result was a cut that is way to short and reddish brown with Grey streaks. They offered to recolor her hair but she did not want to have more chemicals applied to her scalp in one day.

Made an appointment for a haircut for 9 am today. Got to the salon and they said the appointment was made by someone that no longer works there and the appointment wasn't confirmed. they would not cut my hair. Apparently they don't honor appointments made by people that worked for them. Double check your appointment. Won't come back!

Jeremy is very passive aggressive. What the prior client said is absolutely what I experienced. First appointment...sure I can get it exactly the way your mainland stylist did. Even provided info. No prob, let's just communicate so if something needs to be changed we'll adjust. He got it ashey and cut sucked. Next visit I mentioned (because I hate complaining) and he was so rude and further made a mess. Over processing, product on already processed hair. Continued to act like my los Angeles stylist was a hack WHEN in fact I never had a complaint against him, he was rated top stylist and booked for months. Jeremy lacks maturity and self reflection. He should not run a business. JEREMY...get over yourself and wash your dirty black pants!

I booked a Blonding Appointment and specifically requested a longer visit bc I know that takes longer! Long story short they booked me for 1 hour ... and were unprofessional. I left without them touching my Hair! Very odd establishment.
