Great barbershop! I’ve been going to owner Gaou for several years. She is very detailed & does a wonderful job cutting my hair! Jessie also cut my hair when Gaou was out & did a great job as well. Other barbers there also do great cuts.Aloha, Ray M
About 10 days ago I had a hair cut by the Hawaiian Native Lady, (first chair near entrance). I was her last customer of the day, she told one of the other barbers that she was tired and I would be her last of the day. This worried me a bit, but she went on to deliver on of the better cuts of my life. She communicated perfectly and with no additional directions as to how I wanted my hair cut, she did the job. I've had haircuts in 15 different states and in 6 different countries, non was better than the one I received at this Kona Shop. Keep up the good work, Skip from Waimea
Was trying to get a haircut, but couldn't get into Waimea Supercuts, so looked for a good spot in Kona, came across Hannan's Kona Barbershop, decided to give it a try. Online said no appointments walk in only, take a number. Got there as a guy was walking out he said just go in, I did, 3 barbers, one had just finished the guy, they said to sit down and she would be with me after she cleaned up, so very little wait.Younger gal, she asked questions about what I wanted. I just wanted a good all over trim. She said ok, she would start with a scissor cut and then taper the back with razor. She did a great job, maybe got the back and sides a little shorter than I'm used to but the overall job looked great.I am a part time resident, so will definitely come back here next year.
