I have been a patient at this establishment over 25 years. They have relocated to a place on the upper highway that is convenient and has lots of parking. I got a large aneurysm in my right eye 2 years ago, and Dr. Miller has saved my vision. My eye exam yesterday with Dr. Kashiwa produced 20-20 results. I have had cataract surgery through them, as well, with outstanding results.They are professional and friendly, and even though I have had a needle poked in my eye once a month to fix the aneurysm, I have been made to be relaxed and comfortable during the ordeal (which does not hurt, by the way) and I am not bothered.The assistants at check in are very friendly, and...read full review

Exceptional. I walk in, get greeted, and within 5 minutes am called for the process of tests. Each tech was caring and explained the process. I moved through the stations and at the end was guided to the doctor's office. Dr Kellen Kashiwa was as kind and professional as the first time I met him. To me, a part of great medical care is being attended to efficiently. This is that place! Keep up the great care and mahalo for respecting my time.

Absolutely the best eye care on the Big Island. After a mediocre experience at a competitor in town; I really appreciate the thorough eye exam by qualified Medical Doctors and Opticians at Bennett Eye institute. A more recent experience at Eyewear Kona made me realize; the optician there is inexperienced and provided the wrong prescription. This resulted in bad eyewear from the start. The situation worsened when I took my designer glasses in to adjust and the staff broke them which resulted in sending them to a pro in California. My glasses were never the same thereafter. I did get a refund after the Kona Eyewear Owner argued with me. Only go to Bennett Eye Institute for eye care, and glasses. Qualified. Professional. Value driven.
