Let me start by saying that my wife and I have learned to do pretty much any home projects (tiling/electrical/plumbing/etc…) because of bad experiences with contractors… A few weeks ago, I was asked by an owner to help with their water damaged condo in Kihei. I knew I could coordinate the project, but I wouldn’t have time to complete some of the work. So I decided to call 3 local companies. I was able to setup an appointment to review the project with 2 of them right away, but when I first called Kale at MD Restoration, he mentioned they might not be able to start on such a project for another month or so. We own a condo in Kihei. We had just finished remodeling our condo when a flash flood deposited 4-5 inches of water and mud throughout our home. Our contractor was a blessing and worked over the next 48 hours to remove the standing water and much of the mud. I knew I still needed a remediator to finish the cleaning and prevent mold, so I called MD Restoration.Kale was at Home Depot getting supplies when I called the evening of the flood (Friday). He gave me some general information and asked if he could call me back when he was out of the store. He called back within 10 minutes. Kale was able to come see the ceiling damage the same day I called. A crew came the next day to begin remediation. At the end of the project everything looked perfect. The biggest thing I want to give appreciation for is the attention to detail and caring attitude of all the various crews it took to complete the project. They treated my home like it was their own, protecting floors and walls from any damage, cleaning up everything, and hauling all trash off the property. Many Mahalos! Call them first!!!
