We decided to go with Atlas Construction because Jeremy and Joshua, after several meetings, translated our wants and needs to words and later to computer graphics. Every Atlas staff we met treated us with courtesy, respect and professionalism. And, the work crews were happy when they showed up to work--at 7:00AM! Unanticipated discoveries of old rotten pipes, sunken floors, collapsing rock walls, much of which were built before current building codes, were met with immediate solutions of how to repair the damage or bring the house up to code so we could get back on track with minimal delays. The construction crews were skilled, and worked well together. I remember watching them pour my cement walkway--it was like watching 6 bodies connected to the same brain. Each team understood the importance of the job they had to do. The gutter guys soldiered on during the rain to install the gutters because they knew that the cement guys were scheduled to pour the driveway cement the next day and gutters were needed to keep the rain off the newly poured cement. My project manager, Saul, was instrumental in keeping all of us on track, from making sure supplies were delivered on time, to sending the right staff on a particular day to do a specific task. He either visited the site or texted/called to make sure all was going well. Saul was pro active in making sure my family was getting what we wanted, and even sent the painters to repaint some columns and pillars that were not originally painted the color we wanted. Near the conclusion of our project, Atlas presented me with a "Care, Maintenance & Warranty Packet" containing each item that was selected during the build, including cabinet care and cleaning, plumbing fixtures & lighting, doors and hardware for doors, and Trex decking for our external stairs to we can care and maintain the items Atlas installed in our home. We started out with changing out termite eaten beams in our carport and ended up with a fully refreshed 70+ year old home. Atlas Construction delivered satisfaction on all levels.“
