We just completed a partial remodel of my home, adding an ADA compliant bathroom, upgrading current bath, and replacing stairs/lanai areas in front and back. After receiving quotes from a few companies, I decided on Fu Long Construction and was able to get everything on my wishlist done within my budget. Contractor Pan stuck to the agreed upon cost and services, with the exception of a fire code required addition of sliding window and moving of an outdoor faucet. Pan is a perfectionist and noticed things that were subpar, ensuring that they were corrected before the final payment. Besides cost, the greatest advantage with going with Fu Long is the amount of choice you have in the selection of materials. With May's (project manager) guidance, I was able to pick out everything for the bathrooms from tiles to toilets to cabinets and accessories! Ming (the head of construction for my home) was hardworking, respectful, ever so patient, and a skilled master craftsman. I'm amazed at what he and his crew could accomplish! Although you might anticipate a communication problem due to language barrier, Ming speaks English and more complex requests were addressed promptly and pleasantly through May. Just stay involved and the process will go smoothly. Yes, the projected timeline was extended, and yes, most of it was due to building permit delays. If you want quality at a reasonable price and aren't pressed for time, you won't be disappointed with Fu Long Construction. My family is making great use of our new and refreshed spaces, big thanks to Pan and his team.
Can't say enough great things about Pan and his crew at Fu Long Construction. Pan and Fu Long are awesome! I've asked Pan for various home repair jobs over the past several years. Everything is always done to our request. Recently they just completed repainting the entire external of our house. (Our home is a multistory building with difficult access/setup issues.) Pan's guys are terrific - great workers, respectful and diligent. Thank you!
Pan, Ting and their team, Fu Long Construction are absolutely incredible! We wholeheartedly recommend them and plan on using them for our kitchen and other bathroom in the upcoming year or two. All elements of the job were top notch and we have worked with a number of contractors from California, Minnesota and Hawaii. PRICING - Excellent, reasonable pricing for the incredible work they do. TIMING - Our bathroom actually finished earlier than expected. COMMUNICATION - Their team communicated with us quickly and effectively. Oftentimes, we would get responses within the hour, even on weekends. We didn't expect this given the job was during the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year's holiday. PROFESSIONAL CREW - Very professional, respectful, and safe crew, which was very important to us given our little ones would constantly run around the house going through the different rooms. Finally, the WORK - The work is a complete replica of what we had put on our dream board. Every detail from the larger tile placement to the small grout lines were done with exceptional care and painstaking precision. It was like they were creating their own bathroom. We cannot wait to work with them to continue renovating our very old 1940s house and updating it for the 2020s!
