I had my first appointment back with Dr. Zhong after awhile, when my body sent me signals that it really needed some help rebalancing from all this stress in the world. He’s unique - in his former practice in China, he worked as a medical official doing acupuncture at a hospital in China. His practice is cozy, and you get to look at clouds or fall asleep during treatment. He’s very responsive to text or a phone call. I’m usually booked within 2 days of when I ask him for an appt. He’s enthusiastic about helping people and it shows. Thank you, Dr. Zhong. I’m going back for my herbs as soon as he can prepare them.

I called Dr. Zhong tinder if he takes same day/l appointments or walk-in but he said he’s sorry but he can’t. Regardless, I decided to go in to take a look at the clinic since I was already in the area. When I knocked on the door and Dr. Zong opened it, he laughed because he already knew it’s the same guy he was talking to a few minutes early.He was kind enough to do a quick diagnosis even tho he actually has another patient coming in. He recommended a couple of herbal meds and so and acupuncture treatment would have been great but he simple has no time.From the fre minutes of interaction I had with him, I can tell he is legit and he knows what he’s doing. What a delight to meet such a medical legend in person! Thank you again, Doctor.

Not so good. Not so safe. Be carefulIf anything go wrong, first thing is not his fault. He would convince you acupuncture have never be done. You must be forget what was happening.

My mother, daughter and I have all had treatments by Dr. Zhong with incredible success! For me it was severe chronic sinus problems, my daughter a bad sport injury, and my mother had a lifetime of multiple chronic ailments and injuries. All of us healed quickly! My mothers pea size tumor located on her liver literally shrunk and disappeared after 10 months! She had it for over 7 years before she first visited Dr. Zhong. He is an experienced Acupuncturist/Herbalist/Chinese MD and a gifted healer. My mother lives in Germany and is coming back to the islands, her first visit as always will be to Dr. Zhong ;-) I have had many acupuncture treatments by others, but with none of them did I receive the remarkable results I got with Dr. Zhong

I've been getting acupuncture treatments for most of my life here in Hawaii and Dr Zhong is by far the best I've ever seen. His background, experience, knowledge is incredible, and his "bedside manner" is wonderful. It's like being treated by an old friend. Whether I have an injury or internal ailment, or just going for a check up and maintenance, Dr Zhong is always my first choice.

Best acupuncturist in Hawaii!! Dr. Zhong is a Chinese medical doctor, only one of a few in Hawaii. Acupuncture is a specialty that originated in China, so you'd want someone with Dr. Zhong's advanced training. He's experienced, a good listener and highly skilled. My results have been fantastic, and I am very happy. I have several conditions and he's been able to treat them all. I haven't felt this good since before COVID, it feels like a miracle! It may take a number of treatments to get the results you want (depends on your goals, body condition, etc.) (this is my third month of treatments), since acupuncture is not about quick results, but his treatments work!! If you're skeptical, keep an open mind. He is truly one-of-a-kind, the very best in Hawaii at what he does. From my many treatments, Dr. Zhong has COVID protocols in place so you can be assured of a safe environment. He's located in the Century Square building in Downtown.

I had traveled all the way to Hawaii from Cuba with some tendon tensions in my back (car accident) that required surgery. I have heard about Dr. Zhong from a friend and he was able to schedule an appointment for me. I spent two weeks in Dr. Zhong’s care and I have never felt pain again. What is this? How could this man fix me! I am amazed!I am so grateful for life to Dr. Zhong and his wonderful knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine.Healing is a life long gift!

Dr. Zhong is exceptional, he made a huge difference when I had serious eye problems due to Graves disease, as well as when I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome, I was able to get my hands back to normal without surgery.His treatments go very well with western medicine, especially in speeding recovery. A kind and good man, he truly cares about improving your quality of life. Acupuncture treatments are calming and relaxing, I've often fallen asleep during treatments.

Dr. Zhong is amazing. He can read what is going on with the minute you walk in. He is a professional at what he does and treats his patients with respect. He makes you understand what's going on with your body and what you must do in order to help the treatment become more effective and help your body heal tremendously. Dr. Zhong is currently treating tumor that's growing on my right shoulder. With the acupuncture and following what he instructs me to do has helped shrunk the tumor. I have a long way to go to heal completely but seeing results has given me hope than going to a regular oncologist who just wanted to cut me open with no actual healing to my illness. The oncologist seemed they weren't sure what kind of tumor it was because it took numerous MRIs and scans to find out what it was. To make this story short, I went through radiation for a month that resulted in making the tumor inflamed and bigger. I was supposed to undergo surgery after the radiation but seeing what the radiation did gave me second thoughts. The radiation was supposed to shrink the tumor but it did the opposite. I cancelled the surgery that was supposed to be after the radiation and did my own research for alternative healing. I found Dr. Zhong on yelp or more like he found me. Lol it was like a calling from God that Dr. Zhong is who I needed to see. He's been amazing since the beginning. Dr. Zhong is the best at what he does. Emotionally and spiritually he will heal you no matter what illness you are battling right now. He is so good that I told my friends and family. Dr. Zhong is now also treating my sister with poor circulation and nerve damages. She used to have dizzy spells when she wakes up in the morning and after her first treatment she has not had any since. And her circulation to her arms and legs have improved tremendously. Keep on healing Dr. Zhong! Make an appt to see him if you experience any illnesses that your doctor pushes on the side by keep giving you meds that don't work.
