I purchased a WR2 atmospheric water generator from Waiea Water for $1600. The temperature and humidity of the room in my home where the unit was located were within stated parameters for the ambient environment required for the unit to generate water. The generator performed well as a purifier of water manually added to its tank, but did not produce one drop of atmospheric water, which was the reason for my purchase. I assumed that the unit malfunctioned in humidity reading causing the measurement of humidity to be too low for the unit to function. We just purchased the residential Skywell 5T and it arrived yesterday. Seemed like a long time to arrive but we were constantly advised of status and delays. Always courteous and informative during the process of the shipment. When arrived, quick delivery with very informative instructions. Also called back for more info and excellent information. Highly recommend the staff at Waiea Water and their products.
I have to pinch myself because I still can't believe I'm drinking cold water produced from the air and from my own machine! I keep looking for the water line connection but there is only the 110V plug connected to the outlet. Unbelievable! And I never thought water could taste so ono! No more rushing to COSTCO or Sam's Club to buy cases of water or filling up the bathtub whenever a hurricane threatens to hit the islands. No more worries about drinking potentially contaminated water. No more concerns about the reaching someone at the company for answers to questions or scheduling repair or service; Waiea is here on island and the staff is very responsive! For me, after the initial demonstration, it was a definite "Aha" experience and with every cup of AWG water, I tell myself, "this is a no-brainer...why did I wait so long?" This is better than sliced bread.
