Saw Malia today and had a great session. It was easy to find street parking on Lowery and walking in, the house and rooms all feels very comforting and clean. This was my first time ever getting a massage and Malia immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. Given it was my first session, I had a lot of questions and Malia was eager to answer all of them. Her knowledge and passion for the craft shines through her practice and it's apparent that she sees and recognizes the purpose behind what she does. Left the appointment feeling so calm and relaxed. From the moment you step into the Manoa House, you're welcomed by a sense of peace. The space is calm, quiet, and incredibly comforting, setting the perfect tone for the experience. Allyson has worked on me several times, and the results are nothing short of incredible. I've been seeing Allyson for almost two years, and I can't imagine going to anyone else. She is truly a miracle worker! To echo another review below, this is not a fall asleep and relax type of therapy. This is an intense but healing type of therapy. Allyson has an incredible ability to find all the problem areas in my body. She works to help relieve that tension and even coaches me about how to stretch/help myself from home between sessions.
