The Barbers

This barbershop is a generational phase of barbershop formerly known as Thom’s which was located in the same spot for decades in Ala Moana Center. However, due to the ongoing lease rent increases, Thom’s had to move across the street and also opted to update the name. My grandfather, father, husband, and sons all regularly frequented this establishment. Now “Uncle Dwight”, son of original owners, is nearing his retirement. Thanks to Dwight and his family for many years of special customer service and wishing you happiness in your semi retirement as your shop continues its tradition of serving the generations of many local families.

"The Barbers" located on Kona Street in a Strip Mall Mauka of the ground floor parking at Alamoana Shopping Center. "The Barbers" used to be known as "Thoms" Barber shop at Alamoana Ctrbut they just relocated, with a new name.You will recognize all the same friendly faces at "The Barbers" that Iremembered when I used to see them when they were "Thoms" .You get a great haircut, at a fair price considering what is being chargednowadays. What I really appreciate is their genuine friendliness and theirprofessionalism, and a great haircut that I get each and every timeI visit them.I highly recommend them...

Been a customer since 1996 from when they were in Ala Moana as Thoms. Yes, there may have been some barbers you may or may not always like, but that's what it would be like if you were trying to find a new barber. They recently changed their hours to closed on Sunday and Monday. And even more recently, they have 2 new (soon to be 3) barbers, and they all have experience and are very pleasant. Sam is still there and gives quick mens cuts with a smile. I also noticed that they have a new POS system and may be taking credit cards now.In all a good and affordable place to get a quick cut.
