I began participating in classes at Iyengar Yoga SDC at the old center in Moilili in 1985. It has been a pleasure to be part of this Yoga community over the years, and to see Iyengar Yoga Silent Dance Center grow into the gorgeous modern space that it is today in Kaimuki. I am so pleased that I Y S D C survived the challenging COVID period to become the thriving yoga center it is today, recently celebrating it 45th year! The teachers are exceptionally well trained, experienced and dedicated to teaching yoga in the tradition of BKS Iyengar. I have been a student of Silent Dance for 18 years now. Each and every instructor is meticulous and detailed in their instruction. They are dedicated practitioners themselves and bring a valuable wealth of information to their students.They work with each of our individual needs and there is not a day that goes by that I don't benefit from the practice.My overall strength, balance, state of well-being and ability to be more agile is from my practice with Iyengar Yoga Silent Dance Center.
I can’t thank enough the Silent Dance Center with their incredibly well trained and dedicated teaching staff for being there for their students through thick and thin.With everything going on in the world and in our bodies the practice of Iyengar Yoga has given me the mental stability and physical strength to get through these times.I can’t recommend the Silent Dance Center more!
