Overall 4.5 stars for professionalism, speed of service, and helpfulness.I was having some problems with a gfci breaker and called a handy man to take a look. While resetting the breaker helped temporarily it didn't address the issue. Since place didn't have a master breaker, I needed to get a licensed electrician to operate on the live wire. Progressive was able to quote me a price on the phone, and send an electrician out the next day. Electrician was very professional, very quick and also provided suggestions to simplify the circuits and also reduce costs. I also appreciated the due diligence in testing the different parts of the circuit to ensure all the pieces were lining up right.In the end electrician was in and out in less than 30 min. Cost for parts was $25. Cost for labor was $200, which I can understand (drive time, minimum # hours, etc), but was also much higher than the handyman-- if only i had a master breaker. With that said, compared to other licensed electricians price was reasonable, and I got numerous recommendations from people for Progressive. They get the job done on a tight schedule, so I'm a fan.
Used Progressive Electric twice last year during a remodel and a upgrade later. Both times Keola was our technician.If you're lucky to have Keola do your job, he'll do excellent and quick results. Just a suggestion if you're installing or replacing anything for your electrical job, buy your own fixtures as the company charges quite a bit for supplies and materials. I bought my own bathroom ceiling exhaust fan for a repair and glad I ordered from Amazon and had it ready for replacement.
Progressive rewired one of my mom's living room fixtures and she was so pleased with their work and so comfortable with the technician that I didn't hesitate to contact them when a bunch of my kitchen outlets stopped working. My call was returned promptly and Steve is such a nice, pleasant man to work with. He quickly located the source of the issue and my kitchen is now fully functional--super-important to someone who cooks as much as I do!
