The hygienist always does an exceptional job cleaning my teeth. I never had to wait. I always request the same hygienist & has been with Platinum Dental for quite some time.
Dr Wrobel recently retired so now it's Dr Rachel Pasquale.

Update: Dr. Wrobel is retiring but I met the new doctor today and she is thorough and good. We will continue driving in from the windward side to go here.

Dr. Wrobel has been my primary dentist for many years and he and his practice are truly Platinum quality!! He came in on a Saturday morning to accommodate my work schedule and even though it was supposed to be his off-day, he did a super thorough job and I had the cleanest teeth imaginable after the session!! And I learned a lot about the interesting stories behind some of the amazing decor inside his office!! It's such a pleasure and honor to have Dr. Wrobel as my dentist and his wife and the rest of the staff are amazing!! Thank you for offering top-notch and cutting edge dental services in Honolulu!! ;))

My wife and I have been very happy with Platinum Dental. We've gone to them for cleanings, fillings, and a crown. We've been so satisfied that we continued going to them after moving to the windward side.

Absolutely one of the best dentist office ive been to. Dr Wrobel and staff are amazing. My visits are always pleasant and I could literally fall asleep in the chair while they work on my teeth:). They are gentle and considerate to any kind sensitivities. Highly recommend them!

Adding this after Dr W's response: Thanks for responding. If you are truly interested in your PATIENT'S free choice, you need to divulge the information that you have employees who are not vaccinated. You are a great dentist, but the unvaccinated are the ones responsible for the latest COVID surge. As a medical professional you shouldn't condone unvaccinated people working in people's mouths. BTW. your analogy or Ft. Knox is not that comforting - security has been breached there on several occasions. But maybe you knew that.Just went in for my six month checkup. Yes, Dr Wroble seems to be concerned about COVID risk. However, I just asked the hygienist who was about to clean my teeth if she is vaccinated. She said “no” due to religious reasons. While Dr Wrobel can hire whom he likes, doesn’t he think he needs to tell his patients that they might be treated by an antivaxer? Read his web page about all the precautions he’s taking regarding COVID. And yet he feels no obligation to divulge that he isn’t requiring his employees to be vaccinated. It’s a sad day when restaurant workers are required to get vaccinated and health care workers are not.

I'm only giving Dr. Wrobel a 1 star to get his attention and also the attention of all his patients. I was just in the office for my 6 month cleaning and asked my dental hygienist if she is vaccinated. She said "no". I stood up and walked to to front desk to reschedule with someone vaccinated. The front desk said she's not vaccinated for "religious reasons". Okay, fine, that's Dr. Wrobels choice to listen to the nonsense about why people aren't vaccinated. But he owes it to his patients to let them know AHEAD OF THEIR APPOINTMENT that he's going to have an unvaccinated DH clean your teeth. I don't care how much PPE she has on, it should be MY choice, not Dr. Wrobel's choice about whether I want and antivaxer working on my mouth. Dr. Wrobel is a truly great dentist, but this is a major flaw in his thinking. When his staff calls ahead of time to check your medical history and condition, he owes it to his patients to ask "are you okay with an antivaxer cleaning your teeth?"

I have been a loyal patient to Dr. Wrobel for over 10 years and have found that both he and his staff provide a high level of professional care and at the same time they are considerate and very helpful in attending their patients scheduling needs. When I required specialized treatment, Dr. Wrobel was able to refer me to another equally qualified dentist that quickly handled my treatment. In the past I would always freeze up in the dentist chair but with Dr. Wrobel's gentleness I can relax. Thank you Doctor and Staff. Un Chong Meinert

Dr. Wrobel is the best!!! He explains everything to you, is really gentle and makes me feel so comfortable which is a huge plus for me because I have always been anxious about dentist. His staff is also amazing and so welcoming when you are there. I highly recommend Dr. Wrobel if you are looking for a dentist!!
