I recently visited Mehana Hair Salon for a hair color change and I must say that I'm thoroughly impressed with the service I received. Anna, the hairdresser who attended to me and also the owner was an absolute delight to work with! She made me feel comfortable from the very beginning and listened to my concerns about changing my hair color from red/brown to black.Anna took the time to explain the process and made sure that I was comfortable with every step of the way. She used top-quality products and made sure that my hair was well-protected during the coloring process. What impressed me the most was the care and attention that Anna gave me throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the end result. I never felt rushed or ignored, and she made sure that all my questions were answered.Overall, I highly recommend Mehana Hair Salon, and especially Anna for her outstanding work. I came to Hawaii for vacation and wasn‘t too happy with my existing haircut. Luckily, Mehana Hair Salon was close to my hotel and didn‘t require a reservation. The staff was lovely and very skilled — I‘m really satisfied with how it turned out. Thank you!
I was yelping around for a haircut on a Friday morning and found this place opens at 10am. I haven't had a haircut for a while and I know I have some dead/dry ends that needs to her removed as well as I want some side fringe bangs. The salon was easy to find in Waikiki and walkable from my hotel.I waited outside for a few minutes before the stylist Nancy arrived to open up shop. She was able to seat me and consult with my hair cut expectations. I definitely wanted my hair in a healthier state and got a lot of dry and split ends snipped off as Nancy suggested but I didn't realize how much of my long hair length & volume was gone. I just know it's all for the best.I now have lovely layers and my side fringe bangs while still maintaining the length of my hair. I think I got at least 4+ inches of hair off and it feels so much lighter. I highly recommend Nancy for a thorough cut and style. She was very sweet and sociable. Prices are fair. I asked for a simple cut and she went above and beyond! Thank you!
