I don't know if the lower reviews were for the nail portion of the salon but I got my hair cut today and they did a good job! I was originally waiting for instyle hair & nail salon in Maunakea marketplace but their hair stylist wasn't in yet, I guess I was too early lol. Went around the corner to see if they had someone available and since she was I decided to try it out. She was a very good stylist and she had to work hard since I have a lot of hair and it's pretty wavy, she had to straighten my hair while cutting to make sure it was even. I went to this place from a recommendation and was surprisingly shocked that the lash extensions were so cheap. I paid $45 for a full set and it was my first time. You park on the street there is usually parking on the parallel street where you can pay by meter, it is $1.50 per hour. The beauty salon is located on the second floor above the markets but it isn't hard to find. I went on a Friday after work around 3:00 PM with no appointment made prior. There were about five employees and maybe two customers so I was lucky and got my lashes done right away. There is a room in the back with beds where they do all their lash extensions. Great Thai Hair-Dresser 'Rattiya' is so great. I always ask her to do my hairs for cutting and coloring. I have very good knowledge how to handle hairs for each person. I have been her customer since she start working at Maunakea Salon
