Ive been wanting an upgrade to my naturally short & straight lashes but didn't want what a friend I know calls, "caterpillar" lashes. I found matsugehonpo on IG and liked their more sparse and natural looking styles they offered. I opted for the 60 lash, 11 length "elegant" style. The whole process took around an hour. Parking is validation. They offer Kamaaina rates and very reasonable refill rates.
Service requested: Classic, Elegant style (100 lashes) Quality: Excellent. The process was smooth and it did not hurt at all. In fact, it felt like a massage for my lashes. It's been about a week since my visit but the lashes are still on and look the same as day one. Vibe: Matsuge Honpo is located conveniently in Ala Moana, not crowded, it's quiet, and clean. For a few dollars extra, they used lash extensions that are lighter than the usual lashes. Definitely recommend getting this option-- it will make your lashes feel light and as if you only have mascara on (weight wise). I had Nanami do my lashes. I have been going to Matsuge Honpo Ala Moana for a few months now and I love it!!! Nanami does a great job with my lashes every time. She is so quick and the lashes last a long time. I only have to come in once a month. I have been to many other lash studios and am often very allergic to the eyelash glue, but I do not have that problem here! This place is a gem!
