Still loving the look and service at M-irror salon!! My stylist is Yama (fabulous!) but have been to Mei too (also fabulous!). Parking is right in front of the building (weekday mornings are best) and a little scary with the main road, so make sure you pull in as much as you can. The bathroom is shared on the outside of the building. Ok so those are the only two negatives about this place. Does all the positives outweigh those things? Absolutely! I've done two hair cut and colors with Mei. She is the owner of the salon and specializes in Japanese hair styling techniques. I appreciate her expertise and suggestions. She does a great job at tailoring the cut/color around your desired hair lifestyle. She usually has an assistant helping her to expedite parts of the color and wash process. They are always nice and efficient. The salon is well-lit and streamlined. Parking is easy with stalls right out front on Pensacola street.

This is a late response from a hair appointment I had back in December (2023) while vising family on O'ahu. I booked my appointment with Yama and without exaggerating, it was one of the best experiences I've had at a hairdresser. From the moment I stepped into the salon (even calling to book my appointment, which whomever the young woman I spoke with made it easy and was able to accommodate me merely three days later), Yama and the rest of the M-IRROR Salon team treated me with utmost grace and propriety.
