They would rather pay strike nurses 5x more than their staff, just so they don’t have to guarantee safe staffing ratios. This is not only adversarial to the nurses. It’s adversarial to the patients. The patients all want safe staffing ratios, I guarantee it.

I've just finished my complete treatment of Invisalign at Hawaii Orthodontist. It took about 2.5 years to get through completely, so I've been to a lot of appointments. Every time I walked into the office, I was greeted by super friendly staff, I was seen on time, and the care I received was absolutely phenomenal. My last 6 months or so of treatment were focused just on moving 1-2 stubborn teeth until they were perfect and I was completely satisfied. And let me tell you...the results are incredible! I originally found this office due to Yelp reviews, so I wanted to take the time to pay it forward with my highest recommendation for Hawaii Orthodontist. 10/10. Five stars. Whatever the absolute highest rating is, they deserve it! I'm so grateful to the team here and so, so happy with my new smile. Thank you!!

Best ortho ever!!! I am sooo grateful! EVERYONE in the office (front and back) is just so sweet! I love all of my visits because they all truly care and make you feel so well taken care of! Scheduling is fast and easy. Appointments are fast and easy. Their beautiful newly renovated office is just the icing on the cake too. PROFESSIONALS that saved my teeth and smile! I started my braces journey at the end of 2018. One month before being scheduled to remove my braces, I fainted and broke my jaw. I literally had straight teeth and then this happened! You can see in the top photo what they had to work with. After the fainting incident, they took me in first thing in the morning after the ER! I left them a voicemail around midnight, and they called me right away to come in! From there we continued months of braces wear and check ups during my jaw surgery recovery, and months later I'm back to normal! I cannot believe I still have my teeth. They did such an amazing job at keeping my teeth in check and my emotional wellness too. They never gave me false promises and always explained the risk/status of my teeth having gone through so much trauma... but still! They made me feel so hopeful and well taken care of. I highly suggest this office for all ages in need of ortho services. They are literally the best and sweetest, I'm so so grateful for them.

This morning I went in to remove my braces and got a buffing down of all the adhesive that kept the brackets in place for 3 years. And this afternoon my retainers were ready for installation, lessons and process. I am so please with the results and the attentive care that comes with being with them. I asked the doctor today if there was anything I needed to pay and she told me it's all included with the total I paid monthly within the first 2 years. Everything was so easy and manageable. I totally feel I got the best Orthodontist in Hawaii. Thank you Dr. Tammy Motooka-Chang and Dr. Shelley Ann Kawamoto along with all the admin and techs that took care of me all these years. If you want a great family orthodontist team, call or stop by their office to get the information you need to get your "SMILE" looking it's best.

After having completed consultations with numerous pediatric orthodontists, Hawaii Orthodontist was our hands down favorite. Dr. Tammy and her staff are so welcoming and patient. They immediately made my nervous child feel safe and comfortable. They are also flexible with different payment options and carefully explain all steps of my child's journey to a beautiful smile. I highly recommend Dr. Tammy!

OMG, I don't know what else to say. All of the comments written by others patients pretty much covers all of the outstanding and great qualities of Hawaii Orthodontist. The dentists and staff are all very good people. Everything they do for a patient is so genuine. They care about you as a patient and as a person. The dentists and staff always try to accommodate their patients and tries their ultimate best to fit your life whether it is a financial thing, changing an appointment or whatever your needs are. I just love everything about Hawaii Orthodontists. I would definitely and highly recommend that office for your orthodontic needs. I guarantee you will be 100% satisfied. Do I recommend this place? ABSOLUTELY! Dr Tammy and her team are professionals through and through! Not only that but the results I received after treatment were amazing! I went in looking like the guy from Goonies and came out looking maybe not as good looking Uncle Rock but a step above that guy from Goonies for sure. But in all seriousness Dr Tammy worked with me and my financial situation and found a plan that worked for me and I'm forever grateful! Was able to finish treatment 3 days before my wedding and in order to make it happen Dr Tammy and her team expedited the shipping for my final retainers which got here right on time and I was able to remove my brackets! Invisalign also helped me stay true to my diet so that's also a plus if you decide to go the Invisalign route. If you're looking for an orthodontist look no further! This place offers locations in town and Kunia so if you live out West you can always set your appointments at their Kunia location! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend this place!
