Dr. Pete is great along with his staff ? I came in messed up and now I can walk without a limp !! I walked and was greeted by receptionist Nette, she made me feel right at home and with my 5 minute massage tomami was AMAZING!! I have yet to have a massage with her and when that day comes I know it will be amazing!! Everybody should come to Island Family Chiropractor ?

WOW! Just WOW! Dr. Darvas is, hands down, one of the BEST chiropractors in the islands! I came in 5 months pregnant with sciatic pain, arthritis, lower back pain, hip pain, heel pain, and every other kind of discomfort minus a headache (thank you, Jesus! I'm a wuss with headaches!) And I left feeling amazing after my first adjustment with him! Now, please keep in mind that I am a legit chiropractic care patient VETERAN. If you see my other reviews, you can find my story on what chiropractic care has done for me and successfully treated me for, and not all doctors are created equally, let me tell you! **Moral of the following review: DON'T SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRE CHIROPRACTIC CARE!** you're welcome. After my long-time chiropractor of 30 years stepped down from his practice, I was forced to seek treatment elsewhere. NOT an easy task, by the way! I had found a clinic in Pearl City, though anywhere I went would have been a downgrade given the care I was accustomed to. They were kind but, well... basic. If you have ever experienced chiropractic excellence, you would understand that it doesn't stop at just 'alignment'. There are countless techniques that a chiropractic doctor can be skilled and / or certified in that goes beyond the basic (though important) spinal alignment to ensure a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan for every patient. After a consistent track record of my settled clinic-of-choice-by-force had wait times of 45 minutes or more *every* visit with 3 toddlers in tow, I was ready and open to try somewhere else. My former chiropractor's wife and family shared with me how awesome Dr. Darvas was, and it didn't take much convincing for me to make an appointment. Which was, for the record, very painless thanks to Netty, the lovely receptionist at Island Family Chiropractic at the stadium mall location. By some miracle, they were able and willing to accommodate me that same day, and I was beyond grateful! Dr. Darvas is thorough, applies the perfect amount of pressure and worked through my muscles before and after my adjustment. He really took the time to evaluate the causes to determine how to help me best and I didn't realize how much pain I was in until after my appointment when it was gone. Some of my issues, unfortunately, will naturally be recurring and ongoing (I see you, arthritis!), but to feel relief is absolute bliss! They have an in-house massage therapist who worked on me further, and I can't express how wonderful and beneficial it was to have such a comprehensive and effective treatment session. It truly was a wonderful experience! I can't wait for my follow-up! Don't hesitate to make your appointment! You won't regret it!
