Clean cool looking studio but unfortunately didn’t love the professionalism I encountered here. I wanted to get three tattoos, the first two came out good but had issues with the last (and biggest) one. My reference picture was a stamp of a flower (see picture below) which I picked because I specifically wanted it to look like a stamp (no shading/no dot work/no grey ink/no outline). I didn’t do much research before picking a studio but thought ‘surely simple black work can’t be messed up.’ After three different stencils were printed out (with the front desk woman) and two adjustments of the stencil were made on my arm (with the artist), there were absolutely no issues brought up to me about the design whatsoever. It was only when the artist already STARTED the tattoo did he say he extremely didn’t recommend doing the shading in the reference photo and instead can do dot-work. I felt uneasy because he already started the tattoo and now felt pressured to do what he said. I asked if he could point out an example of what he means and he straight up said “No” ?! I asked if he thought it would bleed together over time and he said yes and to “just trust him.” At that point I just said okay because I wasn’t trying to walk out of the shop with half an outline… Once he finished I expected it to somewhat still look like the stamp with the negative white space throughout the flower. Immediately my stomach sank when I saw it basically looked nothing like what I wanted. It has a hard outline with little to no distinct negative white space throughout the flower so unless you’re up close it just looks like a large black shape. It’s not a horrible tattoo but it just looks like a dark, regular flower tattoo which defeats the entire point of me choosing a stamp style. I would’ve rather increased the space between the petals if the worry was blowout or simply NOT have gotten it at all. I’ve gotten many tattoos, been to many studios, and encountered many artists. All I want to get across is that tattooing is a luxury. Customers pay premium money for a premium service for a product that lasts on their body forever. If there’s an issue with the design a customer wants, please address it BEFORE you start tattooing.

Bluez is a very professional artist whose work speaks for itself. I brought him a tattoo idea and he was able to rework it slightly to make my own. His shop and workspace are hygienic and clean. Would definitely come here again for more work if we lived closer.

Great experience, showed up hoping for walk-in availability, great conversation with Shelley at the front desk. Kujo was able to get me in within 15 minutes, he did great work and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Shop extremely clean and in a great area. Everyone very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.
