“I found Radical Mane at Oasis studio by word of mouth from another hair stylist in the area. I was interested in a complete hair overhaul that I'd been thinking of for some time. I was able to text Jordyn from her info available on her website. I initially contacted the another hair stylist about a dramatic cut, but she didn't do color and referred me to Radical Mane for that. Jordyn asked a lot of questions via text to make sure I'd thought through my decision and to understand what I was asking for. I ended up doing both appointments the same day, the color right after the cut. This was fairly easy, since both locations were within walking distance of each other. I'm happy I had two experts each doing what they loved doing best! The cut at Winam Studios was amazing, and I walked over to Radical Mane about a block away, located upstairs by a Himalayan Restaurant. I trusted Jordyn's expertise on what specific color to add to the top to add a bit of contrast between my longer locks and short hair. I've never dyed my hair before, so I think she went with as natural of a look as possible, while still adding the contrast I desired. She mostly added simple highlights to avoid a harsh line that would be evident as the hair grew out. The studio was clean and comfortable, with beautiful art by a local artist up on the walls. Jordyn is super personable and wise beyond her years. We talked about life, and she ended up recommending a book to me! Both the cut and color turned out better than I could ever have imagined! It's comfortable and super low-maintenance. I don't have to wash my hair as often, don't sweat as much, and never need a hair tie. My hair looks amazing after simply messing it around with my fingers and flipping to the side. Friends that have known me for years have asked me why I hadn't had this haircut sooner. They tell me it fits my personality perfectly! I love that I can look chic or punk rock, depending on what I wear and how I wear my hair! Now I look like the artist I am! My hair is long and always had hard time styling. She asked me couple questions before head and did shampoo, massage and blowout.
Shop location was great and inside of the drybar is super cute! Other stylists were welcoming and nice too! I did the blowout couple days ago but my hair is still smooth and no frizz.

“The owner Rattiya's is so nice I called at 0800am before they are opened and she said she can take me in at 1000. I arrived 30 minutes early and she still sees me anyway. I came in with grown out black roots and bleach highlights thru out so it was a mess. I showed her what I want my hair to look like, was a lighter brown tone . She dyed my hair twice and cut it too and worked on me for like 2 hours and 45 minutes and only charged 156 what a steal. Highly recommends anyone if you look for an affordable hair cut and style. She does take walk in but get booked pretty fast so I recommends calling ahead for an appointment!“

“Emily really knows her hair. She takes alot of time understanding your hair and explaining how your hair lays and best way to cut and maintain. Though, at $100 for a basic hair cut, and $80 for beard trim, razor shave and facial. Throw in a 25% tip and you're looking at over $225 + tax before getting out of there. She's a lot of fun, and she's worth the money, but unfortunately, I'll only be able to enjoy this luxury on special occasions.“

“I wanted a change, I wanted fuller hair so I searched for a hair extension company on Google, and Tonia's place came up as being right down the hall from my massage therapy practice.I was able to make an appointment with her and in a few days I was in for a consultation.She knew exactly what I needed and was able to match my long wavy hair with one of her many sample swatches. She had so many swatches with different textures, and color options. My hair is not only an unusual shade of brown, it also has a different type of wave to it. It’s very long, not curly necessarily, it’s fine and it’s neutral in color.She suggested I purchase 3 wefts so I did. They arrived quickly and she set me up with an appointment soon after.Tonia is patient and explains things thoroughly. She is clearly concerned about customers and not just there to make money, or to rush clients.The hair I have as my extensions is absolutely top quality. I can use heat on it and style it just like my own hair.The type of hair that she puts in is attached with a crimp. I prefer my crimps to be close to my scalp. This makes it feel tighter in the beginning because there isn’t much space but I don’t mind as it feels very secure. Some may prefer to have a little gap, I’m guessing about an eighth of an inch or so but that seems like a personal preference.Tonia is easy going and has a comfortable calm energy about her. She is a joy to talk to, and I always feel like I had a great therapy session when I walk out.I feel that my extensions have reversed my age by at least 5 to 7 years. When I tell people that I have extensions, they cannot believe it. Of course, isn’t that how it should be?Having them moved up or removed and put back in are the 2 methods offered and she will explain those options with you. I have them done about every 6 to 8 weeks. How frequently you do it is your preference but this is what I've found to work for me.Some might consider these extensions, high maintenance, but I don’t consider that at all. They do take some getting used to but nothing major. I'm able to I wear my hair up or down and in different styles. They work great no matter what. I work out with and wash them too. My hair is very long. I have 22” wefts and they are absolutely wonderful. Some pieces do fall out from time to time, but there’s so much hair that it’s not noticeable. Tonia explained that it’s normal to lose some. I only ever lose a few pieces, but I keep them because all of the hair you purchase is real human hair and can be reused. Perhaps they could get old and become not usable, but that has not happened and I’ve had mine move up or removed and replaced at least 5 times.Parking is convenient behind the building and making appointment with her is a breeze.If you search for hair extensions on Oahu, you will not find a better price and I don’t believe that you will find anyone who cares as much as Tonia does.As someone who has had three decades of customer service experience, someone who has won awards in customer service and outside sales, someone with a successful professional massage therapy business, I could not recommend her more. You will absolutely love her.“

“Marie’s installed my nano i-tip extensions for a year now. She is so sweet and super easy to talk to! I have lots of fine baby hair on my he top of my head and I think this methods been more gentle on my growing hair. For reference, these are volume extensions and the extensions are cut to my natural length. I also wash my hair more frequently and noticed blow drying is a lot easier and quicker than a different type of extensions I had before. Marie’s quality of work is top tier and I feel like I gained more confidence with her help ❣️ I also appreciate her pointers on which styles of bangs compliment my facial features when I asked. She gave me a great haircut and was a pleasure to talk with, telling me about how she left Vietnam in April 1975 on the day the NVA was taking Saigon. It actually turned out to be one of the better haircuts I’ve gotten in my life, and for $15, you can’t beat it!
