I was initially surprised that this office doesn’t have much of an online presence—no website, limited Yelp activity, etc. But after visiting, I actually think that’s a testament to how good they are. It’s clear they get referrals the old-fashioned way, because the office has been busy both times I’ve gone in. Despite that, everything runs smoothly, and I never felt rushed. The doctor took plenty of time to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot!).
He was incredibly patient and thorough—even when I repeated questions or asked to film parts of the explanation so I could review later. He walked me through everything using a model skeleton and then demonstrated the exercises with me, which I really appreciated.
As someone who is a dancer and movement professional, I’m very selective about who I trust with bodywork and advice. Within minutes, he identified key issues in my movement patterns—things I’ve been trying to understand for years. His level of insight was honestly impressive.
It’s only been a couple of days since starting the program, and I’m already noticing improvement. The exercises feel targeted and effective, and I left with a much clearer understanding of what’s going on in my body.
The office manager is also fantastic—organized, efficient, and incredibly warm. It’s clear she keeps everything running seamlessly behind the scenes.
Overall, a five-star experience. I highly recommend this practice.

I kept having numbness and tingling in my right arm for the past 4 years. . . been to other chiropractors, PT, massage etc. and nothing seemed to help. Thought I'd try Awakuni as my friend and her family see him, and so glad I did! Doc took x-rays and pointed out the issues in my neck causing the problem. I was given stretches to do at home and a treatment plan. 6 months later, here I am with little to no issues with the numbness. It does flare up occasionally, and when it does, a trip to see Doc Awakuni straightens it right up. I have to add, I appreciate the affordability of his treatments as well. His office staff works with you to set up affordable options (pay all at once, or half up front/half later, or pay as you go) and will give you the form to send to your insurance to get reimbursed. This place is a well oiled machine, once you are established as a patient, you are in and out the door in 15-20 mins.

This updated review is long overdue! This is the place to go to! First off, Lisa is great! She manages this clinic like a fine tuned machine! Dr.Awakuni is amazing. He can "see" things that you aren't even aware of. He explains the process and will give you a forecast of what to expect. He also explains what you can do to keep the problem from reoccurring. What a great place! I've recommended many people and they all agree! Highly recommend!

At first I was skeptical about going to a chiropractor, but Awakuni took the steps to show me how they will improve my posture, why having your back in a certain curve will do for you overall, they take care and make sure they clean things down for not our safety but your safety also! I recommend to many others to help improve not only day to day life, but overall life and health !

It's been a few days since my 2nd visit (1st correction ) and I gotta say I feel some positive effects already! My back was fairly out of whack even at my age (28) and I would encourage many people to check this out. I didn't know what I was missing until a buddy let me know the details about this place. The price is fair even without insurance reimbursement, and doc is efficient and professional. Definitely money well spent.

I haven't been to chiropractors in the past Bc I didn't believe in them. But this doctor of chiropractic med knows his stuff. He seems to have a deeper breadth of knowledge regarding how physical activity effects your musculoskeletal system than I anticipated. I'd like to think his adjustments helped center me, but regardless, his knowledge base impressed me. Also, his staff is super friendly and they submit on your behalf to your insurance if you have coverage!

I was referred by a friend and a family member when I was looking for a Chiropractor. With those referrals, I called them and made an appointment right away. The entire process was so easy. The staffs are nice and friendly. I had to pay up front but the helped so all the paperwork for my insurance so they can refund me. After the initial consultation and X-ray, they gave me a recommended plan. Because I was referred, I got a discount! I've continued with my regular adjustments now because I realized the benefits.
