I loved working with Melissa Kalauli Realty! We worked primarily with Krystle one of their realtors for renting a space. We moved from the mainland for work and they have been nothing but responsive and helpful. We did not like the first place we rented once we arrived due to being unable to see it in person and just going based of pictures but they were quick to help us find a new space that fit our needs better and had no problems with refunded us our deposits. Would recommend them to anyone!

We rented a house through Melissa K Realty and it was the BEST experience we've had through a property management company, from the initial application and viewing of the unit through to the very end. The entire tenancy experience was so easy and breezy. Melissa, Krystle, Caroline, and Jim-the-handyman were so responsive, communicative, professional, and fair - and just exuded Aloha through and through. <3 (I can name other agencies around here that could really take some lessons from them.) We would jump at the chance to rent from Melissa K Realty again should an opportunity present itself in the future. I highly recommend them!!

My wife and I were rental property owners for nearly 20 years in Hilo, HI and we partnered with a number of the property management companies in Hilo over that period of time. Melissa and her team were the best, and it’s not even close in our opinion. Melissa took us on as a client during a very difficult tenant dispute and was a tremendous help. She was caring, helpful, responsive, and effective at all times. She always acted in our best interest and delivered results. Don’t read the nonsense written by tenants, Melissa treats everyone professionally and with respect, but she also does her job representing and acting on behalf of her client property owners.
