Dr. Badgley should not be practicing medicine. I went in to see him for an unexplained bleed. The whole time I was explaining my symptoms he was practicing his golf swing and when I was done he stood for a minute and then turned to me and said "What do you think it is?" He eventually diagnosed this as a possible tumor, but his office was never able to coordinate with the referring Dr.'s office to set up an appointment to confirm or deny this.I finally went to a different Dr. who had the matter solved in minutes, I love my new Dr., she is Dr. Leboo in Hilo and is excellent!Again, Dr. Badgley should not be practicing medicine, this is scary and unacceptable, run, don't walk, from this office!

One of the finest Drs I have had the pleasure of being treated by. That you're able to come to a good Dr. Is sometimes taken as something you are owed, but when ill you do notice that difference. Beautiful family practice.

Bad family practice. Front desk doesn't follow up on any requests. Doctor is rude Visited once and will not return.

Dr. Badgely has some major temperament issues. He's not the same person each time you see him and it's due to his admitted Alzheimers. However, I still considered him to be a smart and easy to work with doctor until recently. I had an appointment with him on 3/1 to let him know I had moved to Texas. This is after me talking about moving for months. On 3/1 he confirmed he'd be able to give me a 3-month supply of meds, I just had to call when they were due. So I called on Wednesday, March 9th and asked for the refill. They completely ignore my request until 4 PM CST on Friday, March 11th, which is the Friday before my scripts run out. Elaina tells me that I he's only going to give me a one month supply. Then I speak with Dr. Badgely who decides to cut me off completely. I called back and spoke with Dr. Badgely and he blames me. He claimed I was "wishy-washy,"in letting him know my plans. He said I should have the resources to get it figured out in the big city I moved to. He mentioned that there was a legal issue with filling a prescription in Texas. He actually said his wife would leave him if he filled it. He said a lot of very strange things and then he hung up on me. He said I could write a letter and put it in the mail and he'd consider giving me a one months supply. To be clear, these are pain killers and benzos he is cold-turkey cutting me off of. I don't know how to see that as anything but abandonment of care. He cut me off at 4 PM on a Friday the day before my scripts were set to run out. Of course I wasn't able to find someone to write it for me in the last hour of the business day so now I'm in withdrawals. This is all happening as I start a new job, buy a house, and move from Hawaii to Texas. The front office runs on the side of rude as a general rule. There is one nice lady and two rude ones.

Don’t go here. Dr. Badgley is the worse dr on earth. His office staff also can’t return phone calls
