Hilo VA Clinic is known for its hospitable and kind staff, who care deeply about their patients. Despite difficulties within the VA system, the clinic has helped patients receive timely and effective treatment, including emergency surgery and stem cell transplants. While frustrations may arise, the clinic has been great overall, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating.
Got nothing but love for this clinic, most of my appts are in and out, no waiting time, and it feels like my doc really cares about my health. I've been to A LOT VA clinics and this one is the best of them. Nurses and Security makes you feel welcomed.
These guys really care and do the best they can within the difficult VA system. Saved me from full paralysis by getting me on a plane right away to O'ahu for emergency spinal surgery
I don’t understand the negative reviews! Try going to ANY other VA in America. Phoenix, Denver, LA, ANYWHERE… and then come here… you’ll leave smiling. Everyone here is hospitable, and kind. Who cares about anything else?This place must be at the center of a black hole in some other parallel dimension. This can’t be a VA Clinic! Well-deserved 5 stars.
