I don’t understand the negative reviews! Try going to ANY other VA in America. Phoenix, Denver, LA, ANYWHERE… and then come here… you’ll leave smiling. Everyone here is hospitable, and kind. Who cares about anything else?This place must be at the center of a black hole in some other parallel dimension. This can’t be a VA Clinic! Well-deserved 5 stars.
These guys really care and do the best they can within the difficult VA system. Saved me from full paralysis by getting me on a plane right away to O'ahu for emergency spinal surgery
I've been using the Hilo VA clinic since about 2012. It can be frustrating sometimes but they have been great overall. Right now they are in the process of sending me to the mainland for a stem cell transplant. No complaints.
