I and my Husband have had Dr. Salcedo as our family doctor for many years. She answers all of our questions with our concerns in mind . We have never had any problems making appointments.

I consider myself lucky to have gotten in with Dr. Salcedo at Big Island Family Medicine. They have been accepting new adult patients for awhile and the staff is very friendly, and Dr. Salcedo is excellent: she always takes the time to listen to my concerns and allows me to work with her to manage my health issues.I have no idea why the reviews are so low for this clinic. I have never had trouble getting the staff on the phone despite what other people say here: I usually call around 9:00 am and it is rare not to immediately get reception and be able to get an appointment within a week or two.With all the terrible doctors in Hilo, I am very thankful for Dr. Salcedo, how knowledgable and competent she is, and all of her help.
