Make Jake your FIRST call for home inspection in Hawaii. He answered our call immediately and came out the next day to inspect our home allowing us to move in early. Even two weeks after our inspection I had a question about our water heater and he answered my early morning call and got me on my way to hot water. Knowledgeable. Kind. Professional. We received Jake's name as a referral from a well known Property Management Company in the Hilo area and selected him from those that we contacted who performed J-1 Home Inspections. My wife was to meet him and another contractor at the property at the same time. He showed up on time. The other vendor showed up...eventually. She was also quite impressed with his professionalism and his attitude and personality made her feel quite comfortable with the process and what we would be taking on.The one recommendation I would make that could improve our experience, in my humble opinion, would be having the summary of the report up front, instead of at the end, or a short sentence to the effect of, "Summary starts on page xx."Jake's services were well worth what we paid. If we end up buying another property on the Big Island, he will definitely be the Home Inspector we will reach out to again. Mahalo, Jake!
