I took my elderly father with dementia to Bernies recently for a much needed hair cut. Alan was absolutely amazing with my dad. His gentle kindness and skill made dad feel great and look good too. We will be back! Big mahalos.

Stopped by Bernie’s Barber Shop for a haircut and had a good experience. The barber was friendly and the shop had a welcoming vibe. The cut wasn’t exactly what I had in mind, but it still came out good and I appreciate the time and care they put into it. Overall a solid place to get cleaned up.

Bud is truly one of a kind. When I was first diagnosed with an aggressive cancer, I was determined to take my hair on my terms—before chemo could take it from me. Bud showed up with so much care, patience, and humanity during that moment.
He took his time, helped me cut and package my 15” donation for Locks of Love so it could go to a child in need, and even buzzed “Buzz Off Cancer” into the back of my head—something that made me feel empowered when everything felt out of my control.
