My friend and I decided to get massages because it was a rainy day on Kauai. Wanda was very accommodating and booked us immediately. She was very thorough going over what our needs were, and had good suggestions for therapies that they offer. Luke and Wanda were both excellent masseuses , and we were very happy with our treatments. I would highly recommend the Saltay Spa- you won't be disappointed!! Jill M
This was the best massage that I ever had! We had the beach side couples massage, and the outdoor experience was amazing. The light breeze, the sound of the waves and rain, and the 50 min massage was one of the best experiences I had on the island so far. The message therapist was professional, and he knew exactly what pressure I wanted and made sure that I was comfortable. It was a perfect experience!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Maka when I booked a spontaneous cut. She was very intuitive and surprised me with something shorter than I had originally planned - the cut did everything I asked for: I wanted something feminine but short, modern yet classic, and something to enhance and showcase my natural waves. The cut she created did all that and more! I had a friend say “this is the haircut I never knew you always needed!!” And I get compliments daily. On top of the fantastic artistry, Maka has a grounded and kind spirit, she was a joy to talk to. I am beyond thrilled with my new look and excited for the next one with such a skilled stylist!!
This spa is a little hidden gem of Hanalei, and is the place to go for a fabulous facial! Dora is a knowledgeable skilled esthetician, she gives a wonderful massage, and then to top it off, she is a most lovely person! My daughter and I both had facials, we both agreed this was one of the best facials we have ever had, it had everything, results driven skin care and relaxation. (My daughter and I are both estheticians ourselves, previously I specialized in facials at a 5 star destination spa, and currently own my own spa out of state). Whether you live in Hanalei or are on vacation, a facial at Spa Soul Skin is a must!
The establishment boasts a wonderful atmosphere and a team dedicated to meticulous attention to detail. They consistently exceed expectations when given an idea to work with. Having visited numerous tattoo shops globally, I can confidently say that this is the most receptive and welcoming place I've encountered. Within just 10 minutes of being in the chair, you'll feel as though you're among longtime friends.
We worked with Doug on a solar and battery backup system for our house in Princeville about 4 years ago. He's been great to work with, very knowledgeable in an industry with rapid changes, and always available when I have questions about our system or its performance. Aside from routine maintenance, our system has been trouble-free and a huge win in reducing our electric costs (important since we vacation rent our house a good part of the year, and guests are usually not very concerned about power usage). We have AC which uses a LOT of power. Even with AC running full-blast, our electric bills are 80% less. I'd guess the system has paid for itself by now or is close to. Go with a local! Doug knows the North Shore and will be around to help you if you need it down the road.
by far the best massage ever. i get weekly massages but these were off the charts. 3 of us went in and all of us had magical experiences. worth every dime. love this and a definite do over.
