With this backdrop, centered and prepared by the meditation, I made the short drive to Heather's studio. The massage was exactly what I needed to close my stay, as I surrendered to Heather's skilled touch. Her deep, soothing strokes and gentle body adjustments revealed her true mastery, while our conversation, when it arose, was as grounding and sensitive as the massage itself. By the end of the hour, I felt wholly present in both spirit and body--an experience of the Tao within the Massage that has lingered, even now nearly a week later, as I prepare to leave Hawaii for the mainland. I was staying at Heather's Airbnb (which I would give 10 stars to if I could), and was able to use the cedar soaking tub on the property. It was absolutely LOVELY!! Heather was super sweet and we chatted for a few minutes, and she set up the tub with a towel, some flowers, a glass of water, and a Bluetooth speaker for me to connect to so I could play music. I used the hot tub in the evening and it was so peaceful listening to the birds & the bugs in the dark, in the middle of the jungle, and I even had three sweet kitties join me. It was very private and relaxing, and if I had had time to get a massage from her I would have done that as well!
