My wife recently came home to a non working HVAC system, while steadily climbing up to 89 degrees inside our home. After reaching out to Atlanta Air Authority late in the afternoon, within a hour and half they had a tech at our home to assess the situation. Ended up being a failed motorized dampener (stuck in the closed position) serving the 1st floor of our home, resulting in a frozen unit (4 ton, single air handler, split zone). The tech Kneemo who came out was very informative, professional, and respectful throughout the trouble shooting process.
