Very knowledgeable about Loc Care and Maintenance. Discussed plan for my locs that are thinning and why they may be thinning. I had the best hair wash of my life and that alone would make me return! The atmosphere is very relaxing, clean and welcoming. This was my first retie appt and the experience felt like talking with a good friend about hair care.

Coming from Miami I’m used to paying damn near $300 + for a retwist and style so this was a relief lol prices are very reasonable, the shop was nice and clean and Shai was very professional and welcoming. I most definitely recommend! ?

I moved away from Valdosta to another city that’s about an hr away from it. For about 6 months or so, I’ve been considering and researching micro locs. Lol plus my bf has locs and has been asking when imma loc up. I was scrolling through social media and found Shades of Shai, I loved what I saw so I texted her through messenger with lots of questions and eventually going to a consultation with her then getting micro locs which only took sis 6 hrs to do for me. She’s amazing, professional, funny, patient and informative. These are my first ever locs and I’m happy I got them installed with her. I look forward to my reties with and future appointments with her! ❤️

I am new to Valdosta and after spending 3 years in Germany with minimum loc treatments, I was excited to find someone to take care of my locs. I searched and read the reviews and booked my appointment with Shaila. Booking was easy as well as payment. Shaila was very professional and took care of my hair the way it needed. I'm not one to fuss a lot with my hair so when I left the styling up to her, she did an amazing job and I received many compliment.
