I had not had a haircut since 2022, and walking into this appointment felt like a big step for me. Between hormones, hair loss, and trying to grow my hair back out, I had reached a point where I truly didn’t know what to do with it anymore.
What made this experience different was that it didn’t start with a haircut. It started with a consultation—and not a rushed one. She took the time to actually look at my scalp up close, explain what was going on with my hair, and walk me through what it needed before doing anything else. That alone made me feel so much more confident and understood.
Instead of immediately cutting, she focused on restoring my hair first—bringing back the moisture, improving the overall health, and helping my natural curl pattern come back to life. Only after that did she go in and cut, and the difference was incredible.
This was not a quick, in-and-out appointment. It was thoughtful, intentional, and truly tailored to curly hair. You can tell she understands curls on a deeper level.
I walked out feeling like myself again, and that’s something I don’t take lightly.

Had an amazing first curl experience! Lawrence explained every step and how to keep up with maintenance. He recommended products to keep my curls refreshed and made the experience amazing overall! 10/10 recommend

I was looking for someone that knows how to cut and treat curly hair. I was looking for a place and came across Beautifully You. All my questions were answered and in addition an in depth consultation. My blowing. I had a detoxifying cleans to start my process on getting my curls back from all the damage I have gotten throughout the years. They also take a sample of your hair to test it out for the appropriate color treatment for your curl type. Never in my life have I seen my curls so smooth and defined. I have followed instructions that were given to me and my curls still look like the first day. I have never been so confident about my curls. Lorenzo was amazing washing and very professional and explained every product that he used. Place is very welcoming and I loved the one on one treatment. Stacy very knowledgeable on curly hair, love that. Love love love it. Already booked my next appointment. (Picture is from two days after treatment and slept on).
