Our furnace went out and the issue turned out to be the condenser. Choice Home Warranty paid for the condenser but refused to cover installation. Barry was upfront with us from the start — our 28‑year‑old furnace wasn’t a good match for a brand‑new condenser, and we’d likely be facing a furnace failure soon. We spent weeks going back and forth with Choice, and they still wouldn’t replace the furnace, even though we’ve paid them years in advance. Barry did everything he could to explain the situation to them. What I’ve learned is that people often get so frustrated with their home warranty company that they take it out on the contractors — and that’s not fair. Accutech has been nothing but honest, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Barry, Sue, Ashley, Luis, and Brent are the best team we’ve worked with in 50 years of homeownership. They take the time to explain everything and truly care about doing things right. We ended up buying a new furnace ourselves so the whole system could be installed properly, and we’re so glad we did. I won’t use my home warranty company for HVAC again. Accutech will be our go‑to from now on. They feel like family.
