Emory Healthcare at Rockbridge

When Emory's demands on physicians made my previous doctor leave the state, I needed refills on medications and accepted the first available appt nearby; this happened to be with P. A. Markeba Skylark at Emory Healthcare at Rockbridge. When I saw the reviews online I was very nervous about this place, but I'm happy to say that after 2 years with this practice, my experiences have been nothing but great! Fantastic service! I’m a new patient and the reviews here made me hesitant, but every person I encountered was polite, efficient, and good at what they do. Dr. Skylark is kind and knows her stuff. Even the lab tech was impressive: she found a vein on the first try — that *never* happens! I arrived 10 minutes late and I was *still* in and out of the office in under an hour. Whatever issue led to the negative reviews here must have gotten fixed, because this place is very good. (And, because I’m naturally skeptical myself, I’ll mention that no one said a word about leaving a review. They should, though!)

I cannot understand what's going on with them since taken over by Emory. Cannot reach them directly, and will not respond to calls, after the test results there is no review especially if the tests were done at a non-emory location. I used to be very happy with Dr. Benjamin, but now I have to seriously consider looking for another Primary care. So terrible with Emory Monopoly
