I have known of this place for a very long time but on yesterday was my very first experience. Bintou the owner is so sweet and polite, the rest of the staff is amazing as well. I had the privilege of getting some Butterfly Braids only two #27. The service was prompt and very efficient I also gained loved for the music that was playing, I wanted to get up and dance!!! Bintou communicates with her staff and she assists whenever she is needed. Her expertise is impeccable, I received so many compliments as I was walking through the airport to catch my flight to LAX. That alone is a game changer because then I knew she had done an Amazing job on my hair. Thanks again Bintou see you soon!!!

Very mean and unprofessional! They didn’t realize I could speak their language and were making fun of me and my daughter. I originally came in to do both mines and my 2 daughters hair but they didn’t know how to do one of the styles so I decided to just have them take down one of their hair and go somewhere else that could do all of our hair. They did not like this and decided to make fun of me instead. Some even cursed at me. I felt so uncomfortable to the point I had to help them take my daughter’s hair down so it would go faster for me to leave. I ended up doing half her hair and still pay them for the full service. Luckily I trusted my guts not to leave my daughter there alone for them to take her hair down. Be careful going here.

As a repeat customer, I’m officially done with this place. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt too many times, but this situation was the last straw. My daughter and I both showed a photo of the style we wanted and specified the length as mid-back. Everything seemed clear.
At the end of the appointment, my daughter didn’t like one of the colors, which was used in about six braids. They agreed to redo it, which we appreciated. However, when I came to pick her up, the price had mysteriously increased from $185 to $225. They claimed this was the agreed-upon price—which is false.
When I initially asked for small braids, I was quoted $225. I then said we’d prefer the size shown in the photo, and she agreed to do it for $185. This kind of price switch has happened to me before with my own style as well.
This will be my last time coming here. If you do decide to go, I recommend recording them when they give you a price—just to protect yourself.

Braids really good however they change their price at the end and act as if they informed you even they did not and you have text messages also for the owner to say I believe we informed you my girl you did not but no problem I will never be back!!! Business lost over changing a rate by 20 dollars

I feel bad for Bintou bc she’s such a sweet lady, but those ladies in her shop are the exact opposite of her. Bintou if you’re reading this, get a whole new staff sis!! They are rude, not friendly at all and it’s not a welcoming environment. If u ask a question about your hair they yell at you and want to argue and then start talking about u in their language. This was MY LAST time coming to your shop and it’s sad bc I’ve been coming for about 5 years now. Please tell your staff that the customers ARE NOT THE ENEMY. It’s ok to be polite, to be friendly and at least ACT like u enjoy your job. My braids are cute but I hated every minute of being there. Bintou, I’ll never bring my hard earned money back to your shop again and I WILL NOT recommend this shop anymore to anyone else ?. Too many other braid shops where the energy and vibe is positive and welcoming. Bintou it’s been real ✌?
Hair type: Small knotless. Sent Bintou a picture, she gave me a price and when I got there the braider was saying it’ll be 60$ more than the price THE OWNER quoted me… smh

They were to pricey I normally pay 100-120 for my braids they charge me 170.00 I only get the top done I have no hair on sides or back...But I must say they were done in 1 hr 30 min.

This was not worth my money, I asked for Senegalese twist but that’s not what I received. My hair was braided to my scalp in the middle and twisted in two different directions. I will not return do not waste your money!
