“I’ve been taking my fur babies here for a long time and service has always been great, but over the holidays I’ve had to take 2 separate pups for emergency visits for a total of 3 separate visits, all for different types of emergencies. All visits were extremely traumatic for myself and my pups. They handled each visit with so much compassion. Explaining everything in detail and being very patient with my questions and me grasping the situations. I was offered options for treatment and never felt pressured to choose a certain option. Thankfully 1 pup has fully recovered and the other is on the mend. Love everything about this place.“

“My dog had a swollen ear, I am new to state so, my dog was also due on her shots. Just a few days ago, I called and they answered while on their lunch break. As soon as I mentioned the ear problem they asked me to come in. My first wow impression was the fact that they didnt ask me for the breed, so I knew then that my pittie girl was going to be alright. The greeting, the meeting the doctor, the explanation of care to be given and the estimated cost before hand.... what a grand experience! Then for the pick up, so thoroughly, so calming and explanation of what was done, after care and they even completed the overdue yearly checkup with testings and vaccines on that one visit. “We have been coming here for nearly 12 years. The staff at McDonough Animal Hospital take amazing care of our babies. They have cared for us through metabolic disease, IVVD and all the normal things that pet parents (of Frenchies) do to take care of their babies. I cannot speak highly enough of their care and empathy. Lira, Prince, Tank and Pesos are lucky to have such good vet care.“

“We welcomed a new puppy into our family for Christmas and wanted to find a clinic to help us take great care of our new baby. The wait was a little long (no one was there except one other patient). The person that would've made this review 5-Stars is the tech name Elizabeth. She was very welcoming and treated our baby with lots of love (you can tell she loves animals). She didn't make us feel like she was nickel and diming us to death (puppy shots can get expensive with unnecessary recommendations). She answered all of our questions and made sure we felt comfortable before leaving. I wish we could request her every time. The only reason I took away one star is because their prices are a little steep. Not only did they charge me for the shots, but I had to pay an additional fee for Elizabeth to give the shots to the puppy. I have never paid an additional fee for the tech to issue the shots when that's the whole purpose of me bringing the puppy to the vet.“

“I did not use them as a vet service; I brought in a lost dog who was a patient. They were able to locate the owner, and Bailey was returned to her anxious parents. The number on the collar wasn't working, but they tracked down a working one.“
