The Life Time Atlanta facility offers a comprehensive athletic experience beyond a typical gym. The large fitness floor, diverse studio classes, basketball courts, eucalyptus steam rooms, and both indoor and outdoor pools cater to a wide range of fitness needs. Memberships provide unlimited group training and personalized attention, with spacious studios and ample equipment to accommodate participants.
The gym is praised for its high-quality facilities, friendly staff, and cleanliness. However, some members have raised concerns about occasional towel shortages, equipment malfunctions, and instances of lost personal belongings. The community feel and the professionalism of instructors like Hallie, Diana, and Francisco are highlights for many members, who find the value provided justifies the higher membership fees.
The facility's weight floor equipment, kids club, and friendly staff are appreciated, but the schedule on the app is sometimes incorrect, the front desk is not always responsive, and the single basketball court is often booked during the summer. The outdoor pool usage fee of $125 per person during the summer is also a point of contention for some members.

Lifetime Franklin is a great place to work out. My husband and I are founding members and have had the opportunity to visit other Lifetime gyms as well. Facilities are great but the best thing about LT are the people. We take advantage of cardio, strength and yoga classes as well as personal training. I’m fortunate to have the absolute best trainer (Derrick) ever and he plans for my workout so I can achieve goals and stay healthy and strong. Some of our favorite classes are Barbell Strength with Hilary(3 X per week!) and my husband takes Simply Strength with Angie K and EDG with Hilary. Today I visited this location with my physiotherapist, who is a member. He took me to see the facilities and showed me some exercises for my recovery from therapy. I loved all the facilities. What I didn't like was that a personal trainer approached my physiotherapist and told me I wasn't allowed to train there in that way. He wasn't training me; he was showing me some exercises so I could do my own routines. That trainer was very dismissive and unfriendly, to the point that we left before we finished. That detracts from the quality of service at the gym.
That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars
