About Life Time
The Life Time Atlanta facility offers a comprehensive athletic experience beyond a typical gym. The large fitness floor, diverse studio classes, basketball courts, eucalyptus steam rooms, and both indoor and outdoor pools cater to a wide range of fitness needs. Memberships provide unlimited group training and personalized attention, with spacious studios and ample equipment to accommodate participants. The gym is praised for its high-quality facilities, friendly staff, and cleanliness. However, some members have raised concerns about occasional towel shortages, equipment malfunctions, and instances of lost personal belongings. The community feel and the professionalism of instructors like Hallie, Diana, and Francisco are highlights for many members, who find the value provided justifies the higher membership fees. The facility's weight floor equipment, kids club, and friendly staff are appreciated, but the schedule on the app is sometimes incorrect, the front desk is not always responsive, and the single basketball court is often booked during the summer. The outdoor pool usage fee of $125 per person during the summer is also a point of contention for some members.
I’ve been using the facility for years and pay a much higher fee than two places with better seniors rates nearby. Today I ordered a protein shake and showed my card for the charge. The counter person turned around a console to request a tip that I passed on. I told her it’s not a reflection of her service that has not even been performed yet. I explained the rate I play near $200 per month pay as a senior and the company ought to be able to pay a decent wage. I have decided never to buy a shake to avoid the “shame” of not paying a tip.
Lifetime, you just lost future revenue for that intrusion and I’ll te-shop other nearby gyms.
So it’s a ok club. I was at onelife perimeter and switched to lifetime for the amenities. They have a lot of classes but if ur a weight training person equipment is dated at the Roswell road location. Leg press machine is old only one smith machine . Peachtree corners location is small as well and mainly a tennis pickleball center .
Perimeter has brand new excellent floor equipment . Classes have to get going but good trainers, definitely do not like the coed infrared sauna, hot tub which is small and gets awkward even if your married - poor choice to make coed
Occurred an extra charge when i got to this gym in sandy springs. They don’t have a wind down station so im not sure why they are charging more at this location, as they do not have the equipment that other locations do. The check in person wasnt very accommodating. I brought a guest with me and was embarrassed by how much the front desk person put my guest through to work out with me. Ive been to other lifetime locations and this one is not the best. Thank you
