He is exceptionally patient and flexible in his approach, with a wonderful ability to adapt to her learning style. He encourages creative exploration and problem-solving during practice. This supportive method has boosted her confidence immensely. My child truly enjoys every lesson and has made remarkable progress in a short period of time.“

Musik21 Music Conservatory, 10700 State Bridge Rd Suite 12, Johns Creek“Our experience with Musik21 has been nothing short of exceptional. My daughter has been a student since Fall 2021, when she was just 7 years old, and now at 11, her musical growth is remarkable and unmistakable.
Her instructor, Dorota, is truly outstanding. She demands excellence while remaining deeply supportive, and that balance has made all the difference. Dorota challenges my daughter in all the right ways, meeting her where she is and thoughtfully moving her forward at an appropriate pace. The results speak for themselves—my daughter’s ability to read music, demonstrate strong piano technique, execute dynamics, and perform from memory has grown tremendously. The level of development we have witnessed is both impressive and inspiring.
One of the aspects I value most about Musik21 is the emphasis on performance and growth beyond the lesson room. The multiple recital opportunities throughout the year allow students to perform for unfamiliar audiences, helping them build confidence, poise, and true musicianship. Additionally, the National Music Federation exams provide meaningful goals and healthy challenges that motivate students and reinforce high standards.
Dorota, as both instructor and owner, represents sheer excellence. She holds high expectations because she genuinely believes in her students and understands the profound connection between music education, cognitive development, and the brain. Her commitment to musical fundamentals, discipline, and long-term growth is evident in every aspect of the program.
I cannot say enough about Musik21. If you are looking for a conservatory where your child will truly learn strong musical foundations in an environment that is both supportive and challenging, this is the place. Musik21 has been an invaluable part of my daughter’s development, and we are incredibly grateful for the experience.“

Keeping such a young child focused at the piano is no easy task — it takes great patience, skill, and experience. Ms.Iliana is outstanding in all of these areas. She has a wonderful way of connecting with children and making music fun and engaging. Thanks to her, my daughter developed a genuine love for music, a great sense of rhythm, and more confidence. I highly recommend Ms.Iliana to anyone looking for a kind, talented, and inspiring piano teacher.“

She was very clear about expectations (practice), possible learning trajectory and offered great anecdotes for understanding the importance of and reason for learning the keys and using my voice in a prescribed manner. Definitely try her intro class to learn if this is a good fit in your or your kiddo's life right now.“

9945 Jones Bridge Rd #201, Johns Creek“As a parent, I am very pleased with our experience at Thunder Road Music Academy. Both of my children recently started taking lessons here. One began with piano and is now also learning guitar, while the younger one truly enjoys playing the drums. Even though they have not been attending for a long time, I can already see their progress and, more importantly, their motivation.
At their age, it can sometimes be challenging for kids to practice consistently outside of class, but the encouragement and quality of teaching they receive from the instructors make a real difference. The teachers are not only knowledgeable, but also inspiring and patient, which keeps them excited about learning music.
The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere at the academy is warm and inviting. As parents, we appreciate how flexible they are when it comes to scheduling and working with us to accommodate our children’s needs.
For our family, giving our kids the opportunity to learn an instrument is something we value deeply. As small business owners ourselves, we also recognize and appreciate the personalized and high-quality service that Thunder Road provides. This combination of professionalism, care, and community makes us feel very comfortable and confident in our choice.
We are grateful to have found this academy and look forward to seeing our children continue to grow in their musical journey here.“
“My daughter was able to switch to ms Elisa last year. We immediately found out that we had been placed in the wrong size of violin and her posture causing her to difficulty playing. Within the first month of lessons ms Elisa was able to correct these issues and now my daughter is playing exceptionally better and is more motivated to practice.“

Katie Pearsall is a dedicated teacher who always brings the highest level of musicality out of her students. She works tirelessly to have her students achieve the highest level of excellence in everything. As a musician, Katie has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and is well versed in many alternative styles of music. While violin is her main instrument, she also performs on the viola, cello, bass, piano, all of the band instruments, ukulele and voice. I am truly honored to have her as a friend and colleague and I highly recommend her as a teacher to any aspiring musician.“

She engages children at their level (age, ability, personality). In addition to Carnatic music, she also taught them slokas, culture and traditions. It was well worth the drive from Buckhead to have Ms. Viji as their teacher. I highly recommend Carnatic Vidyalaya.“
