As a former student of the Mrs. Dawn from 7th-12th grade, I can say with certainty that she is an amazing piano teacher. The depth and care with which she teaches her students is unmatched. I remember coming from another piano teacher that did not take as much care to teach me the fundamentals of piano technique, and was shocked at how much there was to learn through her teaching. Over the years, I greatly improved on my technique, got to learn piano theory, and moved on from playing easier pieces to more technically/musically challenging works. Dr. Dawn Hawk and her husband Dr. Eric Hawk and team provide an amazing atmosphere for all things music. The in-depth tutelage provided by the academy have made my son into an incredible musician. The foundation he received from Dr. Dawn specifically will last him for the rest of his life, especially as he gets ready to enter his next phase of going to the Boston Conservatory. The music school instructors have always taken the time and extra care in the details to make sure that the quality of instruction is far above the standard. I highly recommend the Hawk Music Academy!
