Clients appreciate the personalized service and hometown feel, with many traveling from afar to visit. The shop has won the Reader's Choice Award for Best Barber by the Rome News Tribune, solidifying its reputation as a top-notch destination for a great cut.
This business is operated by an older gentleman and he has been in business for many years. Shop has 2 chairs and reminds me of the small town shops that you see in TV shows like Andy Griffin's Mayberry. The barber enjoys a good conversation and is very friendly and respectful. Most haircuts for men run $20 cash. No cards.

My husband loves to get his hair cut by Mike at Alto Barber Shop. Mike is a man's man, nothing sissy about him! Very professional, does an immaculate job along with a great conversation!
